This is the 2nd revision of the popular Bostig Power Steering Delete pulley for Ford Zetec and some Duratec applications. The Rev 2 design eliminates welds and heat affected zones. It also uses thicker steel for even stronger and stiffer support than the welded bracket.
 
The idler is built around a readily available idler pulley should it need replacement down the road.
 
We carry these in our vans even if they have power steering, as if any part of the hydraulic system leaks on the road, you can swap the idler quickly and fix the PS system when you get home!
 
This idler can also be used on a stock Zetec powered Ford Focus to delete the power steering pump without changing stock belt routing/lengths.

    Worked great for my 99" Cougar

    I bought this to remove/replace my power steering pump as a dummy wheel and it worked great, didn't have to get a new belt or anything, fit right in and looks GREAT. It feels a bit more responsive in the pedal as well.

    Perfect product

    I am putting a Ford zetec motor in my VW Baja bug and it came time to figure out the belt situation. Luckily I ran across bostig product. I waited for a month for it to be released and let me tell you it was worth it. Its far better than something I could have grabbed up and the best part it uses the stock belt! Its hard to get a hold of someone on the phone but the guys are always busy and they ALWAYS get back to you and give you their full attention. Perfect customer service in my book. I would highly recommend both this product and bostig.
