Group Build & Custom Build Terms & Conditions

Deposits & Balance Deposits are 20% of the base kit price, plus the full cost of any selected options and shipping. This makes your final balance payment the same regardless of configuration. Deposits are non-refundable, but transferable. Your deposit reserves a production slot, not a delivery date. Balance payments are due when your kit is ready to ship, or before, on dates Bostig determines and communicates by email. By placing a deposit you agree to pay the remaining balance no later than 2 weeks after it is requested. Failure to pay within 2 weeks of the due date results in forfeiture of both the deposit and the kit.

Production & Returns Delivery windows are best estimates, not guarantees. As a micro-scale manufacturer we occasionally slip in scheduling, and we send email updates whenever possible. We do not accept returns, due to the customized nature and low volume of our products.

Group Build Group Build orders run when the build reaches a minimum of five reserved kits, on or around the published run date. If the minimum is not reached by that date, your reserved slot rolls to the next scheduled Group Build and your deposit carries with it. If you prefer not to wait, you may apply your deposit to a Custom Build at the then-current price, or transfer it to another buyer. Group Build kits are produced in our standard finish only.

Custom Build Custom Build kits are produced individually, in the finish color you select, and your build is scheduled to begin without waiting for a Group Build run. Because your kit is built to your color specification, your finish selection is final once your build begins and your custom parts are ordered. Custom parts cannot be returned, exchanged, or refinished, and your deposit is committed once those parts are ordered. Custom Build is not subject to a minimum order count or run schedule; we begin as parts and shop capacity allow.

Support Support is offered at the sole discretion of Bostig and its employees, not as a guaranteed service. Bostig reserves the right to suspend support to any customer at any time.
