ReviewsDan SchmidtExcellent addition to the conversion, but I've seen comments online about leaking. When item arrived I could see the mating surface was not totally flat, possibly deformed from the welding. I did not mill the face, just assumed it would snug down with blots. I've only driven 50 miles, but it has idled here for hours and not leaking. Difficult install with bolts under bottom side. DO THIS INSTALL ON ENGINE STAND BEFORE INSTALL IF POSSIBLE.Eric Wurschmidt

Great product major pain to installNice quality and increased ground clearance. However, you do not want to add this to an already installed engine. Two of the fasteners inside the pan are torture to begin to thread. Best practice is to super glue them to an extended finger, then use a crank neck wrench to tighten once they start to thread. When you are done you deserve many beers.Gregg
just what i needed!When I bought my conversion (v2) this was not available. I finely got around to getting it and what a difference it made! More ground clearance more oil. Pretty easy to install too, I used the red hi-temp rtv that someone recommend in a comment. It's a little tricky to work with the limited space on the inside of the pan, but just take your time and it'll work out.Bill Z
Best upgradeAs far as I'm concerned, this is a must for the zetec conversion. Way tougher than stock pan. Better clearance. Holds more oil. A no brained for me.
