This is for those that need a replacement SCT device, had chips or older units with older versions of the kit that are no longer supported by SCT.

If you choose to purchase an X4 elsewhere the following caveats apply:

Bostig charges a $200 Bring-your-own-device fee for tunes and diagnostic support, and to try and prevent people from getting scammed. If you do decide to purchase via ebay or Amazon, be aware that some vendors sell units listed as new, but that have been used to program a vehicle and returned. As of this writing, to unlock such a device costs $250 from SCT, we cannot unlock devices. Additionally if you do not get the correct device, it may not be compatible with the ECU used for the conversion.
